Free physicals will be provided at the high school on May 6th for Rock Hill students participating in extracurricular activities for the 2025 and 2026 season. Students who are 13 years of age or older are eligible to receive a free physical. If they are under 13, they cannot receive a physical at the high school. Shuttle transportation from the middle school to the high school will be provided. Students must already have a signed physical form by a guardian in hand prior to going; otherwise, the student will not be able to get a physical at that moment.
The High School Band and Choir spring concert that is scheduled for this Sunday May 4th has been moved to the Middle school gym. The concert will start at 2:00 p.m., and students need to report by 1:30 p.m.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce invites you to participate in a Special Education Family Survey. Participates will be entered into a drawing for a $50.00 gift card.

Rock Hill Middle School will host its National Junior Honor Society Induction on May 8th at 9:45 am. Doors will be open to the community at 9:15 am.
In addition, middle school awards day will be held on May 20th at 9:00 am. Doors will be open to the community at 8:30 am.
The Middle School Fairland track meet for this evening has been cancelled. The new invitational date is May 5th.
The P T O will be meeting today at 3:00 in the P T O room at the Elementary. We will be discussing fundraisers for next school year. Hope to see you there.
We will be having registration for the 25-26 school year Tuesday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 9th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Any student wishing to enroll for Preschool or Kindergarten must bring in the following items:
· Birth Certificate
· Shot Record
· Proof of Residence
· Custody Papers (if applicable)
· Household Income (Preschool only)
Due to the significant amount of traffic using the middle school east lot for evening pickups, guardians or drivers are asked to keep your young children either in your automobile with you or near you at all times. For the safety of all people who use the parking lot during evening dismissal, playing on the lot during pickup time is not permitted.
Rock Hill Local Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay today 4/3/25 to allow for better visibility of potential flooded areas in the district. Be safe.
The Middle School Track Meet at Portsmouth was changed from April 17th to April 15th.

Rock Hill Schools will be back on regular schedule beginning tomorrow April 1, 2025. The elementary pick up time will be 2:10 p.m. at the wings. The Pre school pick up will be at 1:45 p.m. in the pre school wing. We will load buses at 2:30 p.m.
Rock Hill Middle School will begin State Exams tomorrow, March 25th. We ask that your child receives plenty of rest tonight, eats a well-balanced breakfast tomorrow morning, and does their very best during testing. Good luck to each of our kids. Go Redmen!
Rock Hill Middle School will issue 3rd grading period report cards to students on Friday, March 21st.
Rock Hill Middle School will begin the process of making up time due to the number of school cancellations this year. Starting this Monday, March 10th, Rock Hill Middle School will begin school during normal morning hours but will dismiss school to load buses and pickups at 3:25pm. In addition, a letter from the superintendent has been posted on the school website and on Facebook to inform the community. Thank you for working with us.
Important Message
Students were recently given a letter and parent signature form to allow students to access Google programs and services for educational purposes. This is a requirement from the company itself. We ask families to please sign and return the form to their school by Wednesday, March 5th. Thank you!!
The A C T test will be tomorrow for all juniors who signed up to take it.
You will need to be at the school at 7:40 to test. Collins students will be given chrome books.
All others must have their chrome books charged.
