The Lawrence County Science Fair will take place on Thursday at Ironton Middle School. RHMS students that are competing should bring their projects to school on Thursday. If there is any changes you will receive additional information. Thank you!
Due to an increasing high number of student and staff absences causing a low attendance count in our schools, the Rock Hill Local School District will be closed on Tuesday 2/4/20 and Wednesday 2/5/20. Buildings and school buses will be thoroughly sanitized during this time. We will be back in session on Thursday 2/6/20.

Notice is hereby given that there will be a special meeting of the Rock Hill Local board of education of Lawrence County, Ohio, on the 30th day of January 2020 at 6:30 o’clock p.m. at the Rock Hill Board of Education offices to consider the following items Discuss and possibly act on the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, discipline or compensation of an employee. Consider and possibly act on creating and posting a pre-school intervention teacher. And any other business that may be considered necessary to transact by the board.
Rock Hill Middle School will be having a Sweetheart Social on February 7th. The event will take place after school till 5:00 PM. Admission is $5. Concessions will be available. This is a casual event, come as you are!
Schools in our county are participating in a drive to supply items to the homeless. RHMS has been selected to take donations of hand wipes/baby wipes. Any individual who wishes to donate can do so by bringing said items to the RHMS office.
The NJHS will have a bake sale at RHMS this Thurs. to raise money for Daniel Summers, a child in our community who was diagnosed with liver cancer.
Stakeholders are also selling $2 bracelets in the office to help cover traveling costs, meals, and expenses for Baby D's recovery.

The 10:00 Christmas program scheduled for tomorrow, December 18th, will be rescheduled for Friday, December 20th at 10:00 due to the 2 hour delay schedule. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Due to the two hour delay on 12/18/19, the middle school will have its Christmas concert in the gym at 1:15 pm the same day. Community members may begin entering the gymnasium at 12:45.

The Rock Hill Middle School administration would like to remind families that tomorrow is the last day to pay for and turn in your rosters for the beach ball volleyball tournament held on December 20th. Also our pie in the face fundraiser will continue through Friday. Mr. Howard currently leads all staff members. Jim Howard & Son Body Shop & Towing Has generously offered to match the donations of the community if Mr. Howard wins the pie in the face fundraiser. Thank you.
