Personal Attendant needed for RHHS student attending Open Door School. Hours are 8:10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday $15.00 Per hour. Educational Aide permit as well as a background check that has been completed within the last year are required.
Applications can be picked up at the Rock Hill Board Office from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

The following enrichments will be offered at RHMS during virtual Friday on 2/26/21 at the building: History and Music Appreciation - Mr. Glenn, Art and Art Appreciation - Mrs. Dalton, Ohio History/Lawrence Co. History - Mr. Brammer, and Cognitive Solving of Escape Rooms - Miss. Shelby Dalton. Teachers will continue to assist students and provide additional assistance and services needed.
Rock Hill National Little League will be holding baseball, softball and tee ball registrations for the 2021 season on Saturday February, 27th from 10am-2pm at the Elementary cafeteria. Registration fees will be $40, $35 for second child and $25 for 3rd child. Plus one case of water donation. Please bring your child's birth certificate for registration purposes.
Rock Hill National Little League will also be holding registrations on Saturday March 6th and Saturday March 13th. Thank You.
Group and individual pictures for Grades K-5 and Preschool students that attend on Thursday and Friday will be on Friday February 26th.
Preschool Students that attend on Monday and Tuesday will have pictures on Monday March 1st.
Virtual Students may come on Monday March 1st from 10:00 to 1:00 forms are available to pick up in the Elementary office.
Rock Hill Local Schools will be closed tomorrow 2/23/21 due to a combination of an extended boil water advisory, icy road conditions along with continued water and power outages throughout the district. Students will continue to learn virtually. Virtual Parent Teacher conferences will be tomorrow from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Teaching staff will need to report to your buildings during that time. Also, a reminder that students will continue virtual learning on Wednesday due to staff vaccinations. Be safe.

We just want you to know we are with you in this! So many of you, as well as our staff, have been impacted by the recent ice storm. As more snow is expected to arrive and power outages continue throughout our community, we just want to make sure everyone knows our expectations are for you to stay safe and as warm as possible during this time, first and foremost. If, by chance, you are fortunate enough to have power and are able to login, just do your best to keep up academically. If you do not have power and are unable to, we do not want you to worry! We will work together on helping get you caught up during this grading period the best we can once we get through this and power is restored.
At RHHS, this is a time to put our motto “love, serve, care” on display and help others if you are able to. We realize there are many needs right now. Notice is hereby given that there will be a special meeting of the Rock Hill Local board of education of Lawrence County, Ohio, on the 23rd day of February 2021 at 6:30 o’clock p.m. at the Rock Hill Board of Education offices to consider the following items:
Conduct the business of the regular monthly meeting for February that was cancelled due to weather and road conditions. The Board may also consider any other business that may be considered necessary to transact by board action. Some or all board members may choose to participate remotely via remote technology. While the general public will not be permitted in-person access to the Board meeting due to the Covid 19 restrictions put in place by the governor’s office, the public may access the Board of Education meeting via livestream. Anyone can view the meeting on Rock Hill Local School District Facebook page. Anyone wishing to speak with the board in person must make arrangements with the superintendent at least 72 hours before the meeting.
