South Point Middle School postponed the middle school soccer match at South Point this evening due to the possibility of storms.
Due to a scheduling conflict, September 26th picture day at Rock Hill Middle School will be rescheduled to another day. The new date is currently pending. A new notification will be sent when there is confirmation. Thank you for understanding.
Due to a shortage of officials, the middle school soccer match at Ironton will begin at 6:30pm this evening. This pertains only to soccer.
The middle school soccer match against Portsmouth tomorrow has been cancelled due to Portsmouth being unable to field a soccer team. Also, the Rock Hill Middle School and Portsmouth Middle School volleyball game's venue has been switched to the Rock Hill Middle School gym tomorrow.

The RHLSD is seeking 1 to 4 Personal Attendants to be hired on an as needed basis to support a high school student in developing new skills and reducing challenging behavior.
These Personal Attendants will be provided paid training in CPI and behavior support techniques.
To be hired by the Rock Hill Local School Board as a Personal Attendant, an applicant must have:
1) Completed a Rock Hill Local School District Application,
2) Their BCI/ FBI background check sent electronically to the Ohio Department of Education (ODE),
3) Documented results of a TB test,
4) Either
a) college transcript showing at least two years of college coursework, or
b) a passing score on the Paraprofessional test, and
5) An Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

To those attending middle school 6th grade orientation on August 5th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, paving is taking place on school grounds, so we ask that you park on the areas of the lot where this is not taking place. Areas affected by the construction will have signs or cones. There will still be accessibility for parking and the entering of the building. Thank you for understanding the inconvenience as the weather has played a significant role in causing the delay of this project.

Rock Hill Middle School summer school concluded today, June 5th, 2025. There will not be summer school Friday.
On Tuesday June 3rd at 10:00 am, junior high football signups and equipment fitting will take place for those interested in playing football. This will take place at the middle school. Coach Damron is looking forward to a great group of kids and anticipating more to come out!
